As a specialized portfolio, the firm provides consultancy in personal data protection, in two stages:

• First stage: Diagnosis of the current situation of the company regarding the compliance with the national and international laws of personal data protection.

  This stage leads to determine the legal risks that the company is facing and the recommendations regarding the suggested actions to adapt it to the Colombian and international laws, and the rulings of the Constitutional Court on this matter.

• The second phase or stage includes a concrete implementation action. Based on the recommendations of the first stage, the company can decide the implementation of such recommendations, and for that purpose the firm provides its services for the definition of policies of data protection, the implementation those policies, classification of data bases and adjustment of the company to these guidelines.

The consultancy is directed to companies of any economic sector, that own data bases, physical or digital, that contain personal data, and especially financial, commercial, services and credit information.

The present Colombian law on the subject consecrates continuous economic penalties (fines) up to 600 legal monthly minimum wages for those who violate the laws on this matter.
